Hi all,

I recently attended an Oil Painting Workshop with Nancy Medina from Flower Mound TX.  I had a wonderful time and was really excited to take some more Oil painting Classes.  In November 2011 I was certified to be a wOil Instructor by Donna Dewberry, but really never practiced since then.  I would ‘play around’ with the wOils, collect Donna’s worksheets, etc (many of you know what I am talking about LOL) but just not get serious.

After attending Nancy’s workshop I am ready to paint. These are the projects we painted in the workshop.  I need practice, but was fairly pleased with the outcome.

I hope you take time out your busy day to do what you want to do – this is my goal for 2013.

It was a perfect weekend to go Ikea and get this storage unit to update my studio.

I am excited to have a sleek, clean look in which to work in!

On Monday, 11/26, I will be teaching the Christmas Bells project.  On Tuesday, 11/27, I will be teaching the contemporary Dog project.  Both classes will be held at JoAnn Fabric and Craft store, 6161 Columbia Crossing Circle in Columbia MD.  Please register by Sunday, 11/25, and join the fun!

I will be teaching how to paint Hydrangeas using the One Stroke painting technique.  Class will be at JoAnn Fabric and Craft Superstore in Columbia MD. Sign up now at the store to attend – your canvas must be painted prior to class time.

Join me Tuesday, October 16 at JoAnn’s in Columbia MD and paint this popular Social Artworking design on a 16″ x 20″ Canvas.  You must register prior to class and purchase the necessary supplies.  I will have the pattern and transfer paper for you.
