About Me

 

Hello!

My name is Nancy J Smith – and I love to teach painting! I would enjoy having you in class – I have several classes each month from beginner level to advance level. You do not need to be an artist or know how to paint to learn the One Stroke technique. No experience necessary!

 

I received Level 1 One Stroke Certified Instructor (OSCI) certification in 2002 and Level 2 in 2007 (the first year Level 2 was offered). I began teaching immediately in my home studio and at other locations; and in January 2006 had the pleasure to begin teaching at JoAnn’s in Columbia MD.  In June 2011 I received my Elite status!  As of this writing, there are only 2 Elite OSCIs in the state of Maryland.

 

I have had my paintings published in The Stroking Edge online magazine.
